An eventual experience

The Battle of Crete  On May 20th 1941. The Battle of Crete occurred.Germany attack the island of Crete. They arrived by gliders and planes. The battle lasted 12 days. The troops were from New Zealand, Brittain, Austraila and Greece. 

D-DayOn June 6th 1944. The Battle occurred on the Normandy Coast of France. 130,000 came people by boat and 23,000 people came by gliders and planes. The aim of the battle was to end the war in Europe and bring victory to the Allies.

    I can't believe how many important events happened along the timeline. I think you have picked some very important moments, D-Day especially!
    Did you find reading about the War interesting?
    I think it sounds very scary, I am glad we didn't have to live during this time.
